Today, EARTHDAY.ORG announced that the Earthday 2022 theme will be “Invest in Our Planet.” This Earthday is a global organization dedicated to accelerating solutions to climate change. It also aims to encourage everyone, including governments, citizens, and businesses, to take action. Everybody is held accountable, and everyone has been accounted for.
Earth Day 2022 is a theme that engages the over 1 billion people, governments, and institutions participating in Earthday. It recognizes our collective responsibility to accelerate the transition towards a fair, prosperous, green economy for all. EDO’s campaign aims to remove the barriers created by the dirty, ancient fossil fuel economy and its co-conspirators, old technologies from centuries past, and to redirect attention towards creating a 21st-century economy that restores the planet’s health, protects species, and offers opportunities for all. EARTHDAY.ORG’s campaign focuses on reframing the conversation and accelerating action. It also aims to bring us together to see that this is possible if we all work together.

Individuals:
We have the simple but powerful power to speak up as citizens – as voters, watchdogs, and consumers. Each of our actions and how we do them profoundly impact our ecosystems and the pace at which corporate and government action. By encouraging citizens, businesses, and local government officials to innovate and create, national and local governments can open up new opportunities. They can help create a fair and equitable global economy to implement these changes and innovations without compromising their ability to advance the public’s interest.
Investors and Business:
As with other economic revolutions, inventors, innovators, and businesses will bring about significant change. These change agents need to take the initiative. We must also insist that these change agents create value for society and themselves as they drive green innovations
